Good morning and happy Saturday and happy Easter.
Earlier this week, Catholic apologetics apostolate Catholic Answers announced a new AI tool on its website that immediately sparked backlash from the Twitterverse (Xverse?). As a result they made some changes.
I am generally hopeful for what AI can do to help make us more effecient. I have at times used ChatGPT to perform various tasks and I think we are in the ver early stages of a new technology that will drastically change the way the world works, not unlike the internet or the smart phone.
I’ve shared several different articles below about AI in leiu of my usual column, including an interview I did recently with a radiologist who uses AI to better diagnose diseases.
Let me konw what you think in the comments or on X.
At Mass on Sunday we will hear readings from Acts 9:26-31; Psalm 22:26-28, 30-32; 1 John 3:18-24; and John 15:1-8.
