Making a decision about who or what to vote for is complex. We must have a well formed conscience to do this well.
Prayer
Lord, help me to better know you and your commands. While many messages pummel me every day, I know that I can turn to you to guide me along the right path. This year, I have a decision to make that impacts the nation that I live in. Give me the grace to understand your teaching and send the Holy Spirit to help guide my conscience when I go to vote. Help me to remember the commands of loving you and loving my neighbor. Protect and guide politicians leaders so that they too may work to promote good in the world you created.
