Thanksgiving and other news
Purple Catholic Saturday Post
Good morning and happy Saturday.
We celebrated Thanksgiving this week and as such, my newsletter is shorter today. We have a lot to be thankful for.
This is one of the regions I like the Liturgy of the Hours so much. We begin each day giving praise to God for bringing us to another day. At the end of the day we ask God to sanctify our work and thank him for giving us rest.
Since we are completely depending on our Lord, we ought to give him thanks at all times. We do this in the Mass; giving thanks is “right and just.”
Below, I have shared some good reflections I have found on thanksgiving and Thanksgiving and I hope you’ll take a moment this weekend to read them.
